Located on the south coast of the island, Costa del Silencio was one of the islands first purpose built tourist resorts. Particularly popular with German and Belgian visitors, the resort also attracts many British tourists, mainly couples and families who want a quieter holiday, yet still be close to the busier spots without being on top of it. Playa de las Americas is just a 10 minute drive away.
The resort doesn't have a beach of it's own, although a short stroll will bring you to Las Galletas and slightly further along are the greatly popular Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas.
There is plenty to keep you occupied in the resort, there are parks and play ground for children to enjoy and sport activities such as tennis, squash and mini golf also available. The rocky coast line does limit the water sports here although snorkelling is popular and there is one of Tenerife's best diving spots just along at Las Galletas.
This small resort offers a selection of bars, restaurants and shops with a wider range available at the nearby resort of Playa de las Americas which is approx a 10 minute drive.
